Insight Turkey particularly interested in articles on the following topics: Turkey and the EU ; Turkish-German/French/Italian relations ; The EU as a security umbrella? ; An analysis of the adultery crisis ; Turkey and EU negotiations - a road map ; Turkish membership in the EU: Impact on the Middle East ; A European view on Turkish membership ; US realignment and Turkish membership in the EU ; Turkey, U.S. and Europe: Transatlantic relations ; The Economics of Turkish Membership ; Turkish membership and prospects for the 'Wider Europe' ; The CHP/DYP stance on EU membership: Challenges ; Turkish membership and the drive to reform. This is just a preliminary list. Please feel free to propose any other paper ideas, including book reviews to the Editor.

Insight Turkey publishes three categories of material. Comments are 2,000-3,000-word front-of-the-book pieces that make a single, provocative point. Essays are more extensive 4,000 5,000-word pieces of analysis that comprise the body of the journal. Book reviews are 700-1,500-word pieces of new books. Insight Turkey welcomes unsolicited manuscripts and article proposals. All article proposals are expected to be made in English
